Camerone Day is the holy of holies for the French Foriegn Legion, Cinco De Mayo from the other side of the fence. In 1863, 67 legionaires under Captain Danjou fought 2000 Mexicans and did pretty well up till they lost. Monsieur Danjou had a wooden hand that was recovered after the battle and it's brought out each year for La Fete de Camerone.

Dale I told you the coonasses down here said that the Rouxbarb is "caught", and that it's got a season like crawfish. Now I don't know what that lady was tellin you 'bout but be careful...remember the war is still on and them is real Yankee's you dealing with.

Now I'm actually gonna boil some crawfish today, and I'm supposed to pick up some Reauxbarb from the man as well and plan to boil it alive just like the crawfish.

I'll post a picture or two later tonight, stay tuned.

            Well Campin Danis,

Reporting from Freaking Hotlanta...is where I be now.

I have learned since being up in WI with real yankees that there is a difference between "Rouxbarb and Rouxdads".

I plan on joining your ranks as well. I think that we are going to have a great company and I look forward to working with Capt Sorchy and of course Dennis Neal. Johnny... are you going to fly to this one?

                Mike-

I'm going to fly for this one. Got an extra rifle I can borrow/clean like last time at Outpost III? It would save me money of having to buy an extra gun case for my P1853...
I think we are in the same company- Capt. Sorchy's.
                Kewl! :p

I'd like to buy rounds off of anyone for this event too. Mike and anyone else, give me a PM and we can talk via phone.

                Thanks- Johnny Lloyd

                          Gents,
We have had four men drop out from the event in Company E. So if you wish to be a substitution in an outstanding Company please let Tripp and myself know ASAP. I know the weeks before an event, somethings come up that may force you to not be able to attend, but remember that the make up of a company i.e officers and nco's are based on the numbers we have. If you cannot go please try to find a substitute so the functionality of the company does not suffer. Above all remember we really need you to make this event happen. You may also email me at terry_sorchy@hotmail.com
                          Cheers

But will you respect me in the morning? You strike me as the type who would run off with some rouxbarb and leave me all alone.
