Upon the incedent with Pv't Barr on the evening of the 8th; I - a good private, croutched at my western post, blanket wrapped around me, rifle extended through the notch in my sheltering tree - expected a stronger flank attack from our homeless enemy.. but alas.. no such retaliation proceeded. I suppose the defenses that guarded Nashville proved to be unpenetrable.

You know me, I tell no tales...However, being the first to arrive on the scene, it is my informed opinion that PVT Whit posted the hardee hats on the wall in some "Wiley Coyote-type" trap for the elusive Cumberland Rock Ape, and stumbeled upon a hapless transient insearch of a wind break. Poor vagrant, he is probably still telling his bum buddies about the haints in the olf fort!

Did anyone find a small Sony cybershot digital camera after the weekend? I have misplaced mine. I last had it at the event on Sunday.
      Just checking.
      Cheers

As many of you know...my back was killing me during the event. That is why I am just now posting here.
I had a great time .The men who came out for this did a wonderful job pulling together and making it work.To have 32 folks plus the ladies come out with only a few months to plan ....wow!Thank you.
To be Brian's first time putting a event on he did a Bully of a job.I know the wheels in his head are turning as we speak on the Duck River Line event.I hope many of you take Eli up on the offer and come out for that.Last year Brian and I had a great time there....though I was colder than I have ever been at a CW event!

          Good Job to all!

              Brian,
I would say that you pretty much nailed the attempt on the original image.
              Bully Job!

Yeah... not too bad. Trim mine down a bit, and it does pretty well. Tim Parsons did a fine job. The only thing I wish we'd have done, is have me turned a little more into the camera. But hey... it still worked out pretty darned good.
