    Gentlemen,
I just got the approval today from my Commanding Officer to attend. I can't wait to meet you all and have a great week kicking rebel ass from one end of Louisiana to the other!

The company is growing but there's still room for plenty of folks. Join up so you can write an AAR instead of just read them.

            Gents,

Bumping this up to keep it in your mind. Captain Comer's company is growing nicely. We'll have chaps from across the mid-west thusfar. We still have slots for YOU! If you have questions about the company or the event, please feel free to shoot a PM to either Mike Comer or myself. We'd love to have you with us.

            Yours,

            Will

Re: Co. C - An invitation

Well, I've been a bit preoccupied with all the damage etc. from the ice storm that hit here near the end of January. Just got power at home last night, so I haven't been able to put a friendly bump on this thread.

We need more men in this company plain and simple. If you want to go to this event (and I don't know why you wouldn't) and can attend, then do so and join this company if you please.

I've offered to drive people, supply cartridges etc. I'm outfitting one individual who wants to attend but doesn't have the gear. I've got more gear to loan out. You need a knapsack? I've got it. You need a sack coat? I've got it. You need leathers? I've got them. You need a musket? I've got it. I'm a virtual quartermaster dept. You need cartridges because you have to fly - I'll roll them.

In short, I'll do whatever I can to help someone that wants to attend this event. So will others. But you've got to take the initiative to register and let me know what you need.

If you really want to attend this event - but are afraid to for whatever reason - let me know. We'll get it fixed.

I've still got two places in my Suburban for anyone that wants to carpool. If any of you Arkansas boys want to do Federal, think about joining my company. I'll be coming through Little Rock on the way down and points in between and could meet someone if they need a lift. If you're up North and want to stop at New Madrid, MO on your way, then you can ride along.

Plus, still looking for some recruits to fill out this company.

To second the Captain's story, we're bringing two cars from Michigan through Indiana. If you need a ride let us know. If you need a ride and a company - all the better and we can hook you up!

I know this is last minute, but due to a change in my work schedule, I may be able to swing this event. I have sent a PM to Will so I can catch a ride down there. Do you still have room?

Things are coming along but we could certainly use a couple more lads in the company. Registration deadline is just a few days away. Come on down to Louisiana - you'll be glad you did.

So I'm signed up with Co. C for this event, and I gotta admit that I'm hyped!

I'll be driving over from North Georgia, so I'll add my name to the list of ubiquitous suppliers, just in case. I don't have much to spare - leathers, bayonet/scabbard, cap box, size 9 black brogans, a blanket roll, a gum blanket - but if someone needs any of the above, drop me a line as well. :)
