Justin... Be warned, the Georgians are returning to Vicksburg agian. 42nd Georgia is the impression, and Kiev, Bones, and Robby will be in "high cotton" with this impression. Half the guys in the AG have some type of ancestor from that unit, or the others in Barton's and Cumming's Brigade.

Patrick - If it were to fit within the proposed program, I would like to see if there would be enough interest to represent the 3rd Louisiana at the center of the line in the Louisiana Redan. Gawd I love Vicksburg...

At this time, all ideas and scenarios have been taken into account. Please watch in the next few weeks for the announcements. We are still looking for a Naval Group to man the Cairo.

42nd Georgia would be awesome--my GGGgf's brother, John F. Knight, enlisted in Co. F in August of '62 and fought with them until being paroled at Greensboro in '65.

Bones, we will have to institute a "no muskets leaning on skinny pine trees" rule. Hope to see you soon, and I definitely have this one on my calendar.

Bones, Lee, and Joe, keep the date on your 2013 calendar. When Pat gives the go ahead, I'll post more information about the Georgia First effort.

You need to ask your pal Mike Comer about that.
