On May 16th a group of living historians will have the opportunity to recreate the taking of Van den Corput's battery at the 150th Battle of Resaca. Portraying the men of the 70th IN, you will take part in the taking of the only Confederate guns taken in the entire, Atlanta Campaign.

We will rehearse and choreograph the hand-to-hand fighting that occurred with the artillery crew of Van den Corput. You will have the opportunity to do this on the original ground that was fought over 150 years earlier. The spectators will have a front row view to the charge with a SCAR interpreter in their midst.

Okay, early registration for the Resaca, Federal, Campaigner adjunct is closed. However, you can still take part with us, but you must register thru the GA Division website or register as a walk-on...http://www.georgiadivision.org/bor_reenactment.html
You still must meet the adjunct posted guidelines at www.scareenactors.com under 'Resaca Adjunct info'.
You will not be able to draw rations from the battalion or receive any refunded sutler chits. However, we sell any additional ration issues that remain on site (thru our Commissary Jordan Rickets for $8 each).
Our regimental sutler, Joe Smotherman, will also take cash and credit card.
We stand at over 70 registered for our adjunct. You won't want to miss this great 150th event opportunity.
