Is there any idea of who company commander will be yet within the battalions? Just trying to get a feel for who I can fall in with.

Marty the Taters will most likely go with whatever company Holmes Brigade goes with if you want to come with us.

Below is the other battalion, 105th Ohio, for what I know so far. TBD is in discussion. Hopefully the full company grouping is finalized soon. Over a year to plan still and everyone is far ahead of the normal. Pretty exciting!

            Holmes Brigade - Racine POC
            24th Missouri - Kinzer POC
            Western Rifles/Mich - Roscoe/Cummings POCs
            Wisconsin/ONV - Gerow/Klas POC's
            TBD

Myself and Mike Phineas will also serve as POC's of Kinzer's company. A little more in the tech loop.

Thanks for the updates Joe! Website looks great. The 105th Ohio battalion will have many of the same players from the 150th Gettysburg 24th Michigan battalion as well as the brigade as a whole. We have 5 great companies getting firmed up right now to pick from. Each time I have a conversation about this event I get excited. I can't wait for all the history and experience on this ground with many old and new pards.

Re: Federal Brigade at Perryville 2016

I have done several Perryville events in the past. My last one was 2001. My last event was 2006 at Corinth. I now have all my gear again and it is all campaigner quality...I really want to do this event, but I am unsure of who to register with. I am a former Mudsill from the 1980's up through to the end of that organization. If anyone is interested in picking up a recruit for this event, please advise.

Ted, as far as Mudsill's go, we have Ken Meek and Cal Kinzer in the 24th. You will have a Bully time with Mr. Underwood!

Wow, wish I'd seen this earlier! Ted our former captain Cal Kinzer was indeed an original Mudsill, and in fact we had Bill Brewster, Chris Graham, and Ken Smith in our ranks earlier this year at Bentonville. That was truly a unique experience talking to Chris about suspenders! But I digress.

Tyler's battalion will have a bully time, and those boys are first rate. Oh, if you were at Perryville in '01 you remember the Friday night monsoon of biblical proportions. Let's hope we get a dry weekend next year!
