  • Buried Alive - An Immersive Event

This event will seek to duplicate the horrendous artillery shelling that soldiers sometimes had to endure while in the trenches. Registration will open shortly and participants will occupy replica bunkers and dug-outs and will seek to experience what it was like for the typical soldier. Numerous waivers will be required and proof of health and life insurance will need to be included with the registration and all personal effects will be securely kept locked up just in case family members may want to pick them up at a later date.

If you only do one WW I event next year, make this the one you attend.

If you're thinking of getting out of the hobby, this would be a great last event to go out on.

Yes it is Ken - well at least it doesn't cost money to participate.

Will there also be rat infested, water filled trenches connecting the bunkers/dugouts? If we're going for full effect at one's last event.....

Yes there will be. Those registered will receive vials of sundry viruses and other microscopic creatures so that they will arrive with sufficient maladies and discomforts to better replicate the conditions. Body lice will be distributed along with moldy bread at the registration table upon arrival.

How about trench foot? Should we come with a good case before, or will there be sufficient water to immerse ourselves in during the event?

You should cultivate your own foot fungi prior to the event since many of those have an incubation period longer than the weekend. You don't want to show up with anything but a complete flare up of any malady.
