I will for sure be at Pea Ridge, Pickets Mill and Marmadukes, and am gonna try to make it to Glendale-Malvern Hill, and After the Battle. These along with Tier 2 events, ONV events, and other such events make next year look full already.

Winter 64. Um... YEA. The best part of the worst time of the year in Western NY.

Fredericksburg - After the Battle: Sounds like it will be quite a time - Worth a shot.

(Why is it that, (as much as I can't tolerate the cold), the best events are usually held during colder weather?) haha

At this time, I'm planning on a 4500 miles round trip to Winter 64 and 3000 mile round trip for Marmaduke's Raid. I'll also be doing a half dozen 1st California Infantry EBUFU events, but they are on an altogether different set of tiers. ;-)

And I'm already looking forward to the BGR Sequel and Bummers in 2009.

3 (or more) quality events (hopefully) for me this season. I really liked the flying thing to Outpost.

I say3 or more hopefully because I'm joining the CT Air Guard this year as well as possibly going law school and don't yet know the time-commitment yet. I'll do 2 (or more) carpi eventi with the Gawd Awfuls this season too.

Perhaps one of these days I can move outta New England and get back down home to SC where my family is. I'll be closer to quality events there too... yesss! ;)

Hey, when r ya'll gonna bring a quality event to New England? I'll be at W64 and it's the closest thing to this area in terms of quality events. No battles here obviously, but there is some great land to do tacticals on here... I know it isn't a centralized location in terms of being in the relative center of the continental US, but if ya'll can make it to W64, then you surely can make it to New England for a quality event...??? ;)

            Thanks- Johnny

I wanted to vote Keyboard Campainer but just I can't bring myself to not go to events. 2 tier ones, a couple of N/SA events and a few local events and 2008 is filled up. 2009 is not far behind

Well, I would love to commit to #3 if I could only get some details from the event organizers. No pressure though.

                      Mike,

Take the time to check this thread in the events section once in a while:

                      Pea Ridge NPS LH

You'll probably see more information about this event after the WIG meeting in Nashville in a couple of weeks, and as I understand it there is also a mainstream event somewhere out that way with a Pea Ridge-ish theme, so some confusion may be possible in some quarters.

Hope to be doing Death March #10 and Fredricksburg. As what John said, Bring some Campaigner events up here to New England. We do not have many events for campaigners. The rest of the time it is a contingent at a mainstream one.
