Re: 2008 AC Forum Event Forecast

    2. Pea Ridge NPS Living History - 7-9 Mar

    6. Stone's River COI - 10-12 Oct

Are the two I have put on my calendar for sure. Both are resonable drives, and can fit into my work schedule easily. I may try for another, but I would wager 3 is tops for me.

Well, 119 have voted at this point, so we have about 475 more to go.

            Pea Ridge NPS LH

You'll probably see more information about this event after the WIG meeting in Nashville in a couple of weeks, and as I understand it there is also a mainstream event somewhere out that way with a Pea Ridge-ish theme, so some confusion may be possible in some quarters.
They may be planning another skirmish at the park in Bentonville on Highway 72 similar to what they had a few weeks ago.

I will be at the Pea Ridge Living History event in March... If I am able to go to Virginia to see my daughter this next year and my trip coincides with something there that is scheduled I will see if I can make it.

I got kinda burned out in '05, so the Stones River event is going to be my first event back in almost three years.......

only gonna make three tier one Pea Ridge , Picketts Mill, Marmadukes . Athens and New Madrid didn't make the Tier one cut so I can't count those and I am not sure if I can swing another Kitchen pass for Stones River COI but am hoping to0.( was sorely saddened at the Camp Morton cancelation, sei la guerre). Damned good year hard to choose from...

I have to say that I am a "keyboard Kampainer" at this point. I have posted before that I am working on my kit and impression, that in the next couple of years that I can pass muster for a tear 1 event.
