Re: Battle at Fort Sanders-Knoxville Tenn

Yes Greg. Now.. to scrounge up some registration money for my busy committed 2009 schedule! I'll have to drop 'em each easy like.. one at a time.. to the bookkeeper (my darling wife). Count me in though. Tennessee campaigner events are few and far between but growing more frequent by the day. Living history is alive and well!

I can certainly understand. I would think that the capture of John Brown by the Marines will be quite an experience.

Re: Battle at Fort Sanders-Knoxville Tenn

                        Folks,
We are asking that each man participating in the company, select a man from the muster roll (below) and research the individual. You will portray that man during the weekend. Please look at census reports to see what pre war info you can find. Once you have selected your person, please let me know, so as not to duplicate the persona. Your persona may have to change a bit, depending upon selection of NCOs and the sort.
This will allow better 1st person interaction during the event. Specific details will be posted on expectations of first person rolls. Keep an eye out for future posts!!

Do they have to living at the time of the battle?

                            Thomas,
I would prefer that the man be actually "fit for duty" at the time of the Knoxville siege. See what you can figure out and let me know. If you have a special connection, it may be allowable.

                            Cheers
