Did my registration for A Company with Mike Comer last night.

Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay -- and claims a halo for his dishonesty.— Robert A. Heinlein
Mike Comer's company A is no longer a pipe dream, and has reached realistic numbers for a functioning company. The core of this company will be Mess #1 from Ohio (Eric Tipton, Ken Cornett et al) and elements of the 24th Missouri ( featuring its orderly sergeant Frank Siltman and myself as corporal.) We are going to have a bully team, and are open to accepting any and all who wish to join.
If you have signed up, but have not paid yet, please do so within the next 72 hours so we can get you on the list. Otherwise, you will have to pay more due to the event fee increase levied by the park/event committee.
Email sent to Coy Commanders. Numbers are looking very good, gents, and the quality is outstanding.
Boys, Co. A is the smallest company in the battalion right now. If you haven't decided who to run with, please join our ranks. We will be glad to have you.
Just more than 24hrs until the first registration cutoff. Only paid registrations will be submitted. Those who are signed up, but haven't paid, will have to pay the higher fee on 1FEB.
If you sign up tonight, but I don't receive your payment by midnight tomorrow, you will have to pay the higher fee.
As I have stated before, no one will be grandfathered. Please don't send a check for the lesser amount after the fact. We have a lot of accounting ahead of us and registration has been open for six months.

The smallest true, but the fastest growing as well.
The first registration deadline is complete. Thanks to all who have registered to date.
Registration is open until March 1, though now at the higher rate. Still plenty of time to register if you are waiting on approvals or a decision.
All Coy's are very healthy. As Mike indicated, Coy A could use some more rifles if you are looking for a home.
**UPDATE**
The first registrations were submitted this evening. We have more than 200 currently registered and we contributed more than $1000 for preservation!
Come on, gents, don't miss this one. With a month left there is still plenty of time for you to register. Each registration raises money for preservation until registration closes on 1 March.
Thanks to everyone who has registered and supported us to date, I really appreciate it.
I am pleased to announce that Matt Woodburn has signed on as our Quartermaster.
This is Matt's last military event. If you have never served with him, or you were hoping to again, this is the opportunity to do so.
Capitalizing on the success of the 15th Iowa at Shiloh and all of his hard work, his participation with us in the 10th Iowa is a fitting finish to his long service to the hobby.
