    Re: Your favorite hat

Ummm... my favorite is my balding pate. I hate wearing a hat. Having spent 23 years in the USAF and reserves building a fine reputation for wearing a hat as little as possible, I wasn't about to mend my evil ways when I began reenacting. I have a hat that I wear when I absolutely must. Notice my avatar -- I'm wearing a hat! Must have been a formal occasion or something. ;-)

My "indestructible" Tim Bender Federal Issue Hardee - appropriately modified by the elements, of course. A brand new one looks too, um, Pilgrimish. :D

I would have to say either my "Hardee" or Pork Pie. Both made by Tim Bender. Very good quality hat. Wore it a lot, a few rainy events and it forms nicely to my head. My Forage Cap is a Dirty Billy. It is really nice to

Hands down my Nick ************ McDowell cap. I love the look of it, it's very well made, and it feels 'right' on my head.
