        Dear Beth:

I've read the posts of you and John for years, and we finally met "by email" a couple of years ago.

I only met the two of you in person at "At High Tide" last summer, but it felt like the natural next step in an on-going conversation.

May the memories of the love you shared be a blessing and a balm in the years to come. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

        Sincerely,

          Beth

There are few words I can say that haven't been said, but I want you to know that I could think no higher of you and John.
There was no man better than John Crabb in my book.
You are all in my prayers and if there is anything I can do you just have to ask.

I just got back on the AC after being off of it for 5 days. Just saw the news. I'm so very sorry to hear this. John was a fine gentleman and always a pleasure to talk to. Our prayers are with you Beth.

              Mrs. Crabb,
I am very sorry to hear that your husband has passed, he was a pleasant person. Although I never met the man, we did have a few really great conversations on the WestCoastCampainger site, and I always found his remarks useful and insightful. He will be much missed within many different circles. Mrs. Crabb, you have my greatest sympathies and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss Beth. You are in my prayers.

I met you both at the last Fort Duffield event and at Marmadukes Raid and improved my kit from your wonderful store of goods and ate my first pickled egg. John was knowledgeable, friendly and a true asset to this community that will be missed.

I'm both shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. He was always a fine friend to me on this forum, and ever ready to help and inform.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Beth and the Crabb family.

I'm new here and from France but it's always be hard to hear that kind of news. So I'm sincerely sorry and all my heart is with you and your family.

                      Beth and all loved ones,

It has been a couple of weeks since John's death and I have found that sometimes it becomes harder to deal with the loss of a loved one once the numbness wears off. I wanted to express what a delight it was to meet and engaged in disscussions with you guys. I remember good times of joking around with john . It seemed that he was a freind even if you had just met him . I enjoyed " negioting over items at Shiloh LH and finding treasures to sample at Marmadukes Raid. You both have been a treasure and an asset to our hobby . And Your husband will be missed. I have included a photo that I found. I thought that it might bring a smile. God Bless. :)

                        Maam,

I am sorry to reply late to the news of John's passing, recieved while I was overseas in Afghanistan. Over the years, I'd only knew Crabby casually while serving in the same battalions as him, yet never in his company.

At Rich Mountain, I'd decided to sign up specifically in his command and had a grand time. This was the last event I have attended.

I am very sorry for your loss, and of course we will all miss Crabby.

                        Respectfully,

I met Mr. Crabb at Zoar a few months back. He was one of the nicest men I've met. You are in my prayers, Mrs. Crabb. God bless you!
